Start from HomeReview as Paid member
User story
As a paid member, I want to review my saved items and relationships so I can return to what I have collected.
Draft requirements for review · Updated 2026-10-19
What the app should do
- Show saved/followed/place/group/event counts and lists from that account’s supported persisted data, with truthful empty/unavailable states. Remove fixed12/34/5/3/1 baselines and invented membership history; no sample reservation or join may be fabricated to fill a card.
- My Backcountry shows saved, following, places, groups, and events with shared demo state.
- Use the active Paid member role fixture for member-only actions. A free account or a professional identity does not supply paid access. The review identity is a genuine local account; another account’s checkout state stays separate.
- Keep My Backcountry focused on saved work, follows, places, groups and events; expose Profile & settings as a separate shared personal-account destination under D104. Do not add billing controls or fabricate activity to fill empty states.
What to check in the demo
Follow these steps from the role’s landing page through navigation and feature checks.
Begin on the paid Member Home. Use the Paid member demo role or Casey Bennett in Try a demo account, then select Member in the account/workspace menu if necessary. This creates a genuine local session with a seeded no-charge test membership; it does not upgrade a different account.
Navigation from sign-in
- 01Open the fictional Paid member account through the connected sign-in service. Seeded Home review opens directly. Real HOL staff access and protected actions require an authenticator check.
- 02From Member Home use footer My Backcountry → Profile. Use the Saved, Following, Places, Groups and Events sections on the paid profile; the free account has its own Home summaries.
Feature checks start here
My Backcountry
October19 scoped dummy-account fixes are available in dev. Named Home/reload and truthful profile checks pass; exact no-preference Professional browser coverage awaits a suitable account. Full-story acceptance remains separate. Navigation and feature checks can be reviewed in the current demo.
- 03For two different dummy identities compare actual saved/followed items with their counts, inspect empty/unsupported states, reload and switch accounts. Membership-since text must use a real supported date or be omitted.
- 04Open Saved, Following, Places, Groups and Events in My Backcountry.
- 05If a demo relationship is missing, open its feature and save a story, follow a contributor or place, join a group, or reserve Snow Lab.
- 06Return to My Backcountry and check that the corresponding section reflects the action.
- 07Open a listed item and confirm it reaches the relevant native page.
- 08Counts and some library/place/group/event cards are seeded examples; check each changed relationship explicitly rather than treating every card or count as live data.
Backend work for this feature
Backend development authorized · Dev only
What needs to be supported
- Show saved/followed/place/group/event counts and lists from that account’s supported persisted data, with truthful empty/unavailable states. Remove fixed12/34/5/3/1 baselines and invented membership history; no sample reservation or join may be fabricated to fill a card.
- Limit current implementation to dummy identity/persisted-data accuracy, entry and landing. Do not build unsupported private feature writes or a broad profile redesign. Preserve custom records, permissions and existing account/session behavior.
How to verify in dev
- For two different dummy identities compare actual saved/followed items with their counts, inspect empty/unsupported states, reload and switch accounts. Membership-since text must use a real supported date or be omitted.
- Test owner isolation, real-user exclusion, preservation across repeat startup, reload and account switch; no role/client flag may grant access.
Before this can work
- Begin on the paid Member Home. Use the Paid member demo role or Casey Bennett in Try a demo account, then select Member in the account/workspace menu if necessary. This creates a genuine local session with a seeded no-charge test membership; it does not upgrade a different account.
