As a visitor, I want to preview newsletter preferences and sign up so I can choose useful updates.

What the app should do

  • Load newsletter page copy, topics, regions, cadence and consent wording from published backend configuration. Content conversion does not claim live mailing-list subscription or delivery.
  • Let the reader enter contact details and choose newsletter interests.
  • Offer regional context and a delivery cadence.
  • Require the consent needed for signup and communicate incomplete form input.
  • Confirm the chosen preferences; the demo records no live newsletter subscription.

Begin on Visitor Home while signed out. If an account is active, use the account/workspace menu → Sign out. Public browsing does not require an account.

Navigation from public entry

  2. 02Scroll to the Home footer and select Get the newsletter.

Public-content reads are available for dev review; full story acceptance and stakeholder approval remain separate. Navigation and feature checks can be reviewed in the current demo.

What needs to be supported

How to verify in dev

  1. Verify published-only anonymous projection, no private/protected payload, stable IDs and links, missing/unpublished records, empty/loading/error UI, and no silent static fallback. Idempotent seed rerun preserves edited records; authenticated/dummy Home entry remains unchanged.
  2. Open newsletter while signed out and review the persisted choices; a preview/local interaction must not say it subscribed to a live list.

  • Use Explore brief → Signup & upgrade tests for account-transition tests; it preserves separate sample data.
