As a paid member, I want to use an interactive place-discovery map so I can explore regions and place hubs.

What the app should do

  • Pan, zoom, search, select seeded places, and filter to followed places with visible map-source attribution. Map and service limitations are documented in the Brief.
  • Use the active Paid member role fixture for member-only actions. A free account or a professional identity does not supply paid access. The review identity is a genuine local account; another account’s checkout state stays separate.

Start here: Home

Begin on the paid Member Home. Use the Paid member demo role or Casey Bennett in Try a demo account, then select Member in the account/workspace menu if necessary. This creates a genuine local session with a seeded no-charge test membership; it does not upgrade a different account.

Navigation from sign-in

  1. 01Open the fictional Paid member account through the connected sign-in service. Seeded Home review opens directly. Real HOL staff access and protected actions require an authenticator check.
  2. 02Select Explore in the main navigation to open the place-discovery map.

Feature checks start here

Places

Navigation and feature checks can be reviewed in the current demo.

  1. 03On the map pan/zoom, use Search map places and Go, then compare World and Saved places.
  2. 04Select a named place and inspect the matching place panel, connected public work and People & organizations.
  3. 05Use the place Follow action and compare Saved places. Map controls are actual UI; live weather, precise member locations and external deeper-map integrations are not supplied.
