As an editor, I want to arrange the Home page and choose featured work so I can curate the experience without needing code changes.

What the app should do

  • An Editor can arrange sample Home modules and preview the proposed order.
  • Editorial scheduling, mixed-media authoring and publication states must be connected before full acceptance; arranging a preview does not change the public member Home.
  • Commercial staff cannot self-approve or publish editorial changes.

Start here: Home

Choose the Nora Vale dummy account and open its assigned Editor Home without a password or authenticator prompt. This dev-only Home review does not verify MFA or unlock protected staff actions. Use your own provisioned staff account and authenticator when reviewing those actions.

Navigation from sign-in

  1. 01Open the fictional Editor account through the connected sign-in service. Seeded Home review opens directly. Real HOL staff access and protected actions require an authenticator check.
  2. 02On Editor Home, select Program the Home page to arrange sample modules.

Feature checks start here

Program the Home page

A partial role preview is available. Editor → Program the Home page supports three sample modules, reorder controls and a preview. Scheduling, mixed-media authoring and publication state remain incomplete; the arrangement does not update the existing member Home. Review the current sample controls, then treat remaining checks as planned acceptance.

  1. 03Move The Long Way In down in Home arrangement; check the order of the three sample modules.
  2. 04Select Preview arrangement and compare the preview with the selected order. The existing member Home is unchanged.
  3. 05Remaining acceptance: demonstrate mixed-media authoring, scheduling and publication status connected to the member Home.
