As a paid member, I want to shape and save a day from a place hub so I can return to an editorial preparation plan.

What the app should do
- From Mount Mansfield, choose timing, objective, and group context; review a relevant editorial checklist; save the plan; and see it on Home and in My Backcountry. The flow must not imply live route guidance or safety automation.
- Use the active Paid member role fixture for member-only actions. A free account or a professional identity does not supply paid access. The review identity is a genuine local account; another account’s checkout state stays separate.
What to check in the demo
Follow these steps from the role’s landing page through navigation and feature checks.
Begin on the paid Member Home. Use the Paid member demo role or Casey Bennett in Try a demo account, then select Member in the account/workspace menu if necessary. This creates a genuine local session with a seeded no-charge test membership; it does not upgrade a different account.
Navigation from sign-in
- 01Open the fictional Paid member account through the connected sign-in service. Seeded Home review opens directly. Real HOL staff access and protected actions require an authenticator check.
- 02From Member Home select Explore. Mount Mansfield is initially selected; if needed find it using Search map places → Go.
- 03In the place panel select Plan a day here (or Open your field plan for an existing plan). The feature starts at Shape the day for an entitled account; a free account reaches an upgrade gate.

- 04At Shape the day choose Day objective, Day window, Group experience and Group size; select Build preparation.
- 05At Prepare select the prompts in Your preparation checklist and inspect the linked reading, group and event. Return to the plan and choose Review plan.
- 06At Your field plan review the selections, then Save field plan. Open paid Member Home and footer My Backcountry → Saved to find the plan and reopen it.
- 07Read the preparation/safety limits. This organizes a sample day; it does not provide live route selection or current conditions.
