Start from HomeReview as Editor
User story
As an editor, I want to review editorial usage and content/community review measures so I can assess the work within my responsibilities.
Draft requirements for review · Updated 2026-10-19
What the app should do
- Show editorial usage and content/community review measures; clearly label all figures as fictional samples.
- Keep the dashboard scoped to this role; group moderation does not grant global analytics or partner/account administration.
- Define the remaining metric coverage and supporting drill-downs before full acceptance; no live analytics are connected.
What to check in the demo
Follow these steps from the role’s landing page through navigation and feature checks.
Choose the Nora Vale dummy account and open its assigned Editor Home without a password or authenticator prompt. This dev-only Home review does not verify MFA or unlock protected staff actions. Use your own provisioned staff account and authenticator when reviewing those actions.
Navigation from sign-in
- 01Open the fictional Editor account through the connected sign-in service. Seeded Home review opens directly. Real HOL staff access and protected actions require an authenticator check.
- 02On Editor Home, select Editorial health.
Feature checks start here
Editorial health
Role-specific sample reporting is available; full metric coverage, drill-downs and enforced scope remain incomplete.
- 03Read the sample measures in Editorial health and check their fictional-data label.
- 04Check the measures relate to this role’s responsibilities and, for a moderator, the assigned group only.
- 05Record missing metric definitions, drill-downs and enforcement as remaining acceptance; do not compare unrelated dashboards as this role’s permissions.
Backend work for this feature
Requirements only · Backend implementation on hold
What needs to be supported
- Define metric names, time windows, source events, aggregation/freshness and privacy thresholds before implementing role dashboards; existing figures remain fictional until connected.
- Enforce assignment-scoped aggregate queries for moderators, editorial scope for editors, partner scope for commercial and separately approved product scope for administrators.
- Do not expose raw private profiles, reporter identity, small-group personal activity or account data through measures/drill-downs; agree consent/retention and safe thresholds.
- Version definitions and handle delayed/duplicate events, empty data and failed queries with accurate freshness/error state; do not imply live analytics from a sample.
How to verify when implementation is approved
- Use two groups/operators and compare allowed aggregates with authorized fixtures; deny cross-group, editorial/partner and raw private-data access outside assignment.
- Exercise empty/delayed/duplicate input and stale/error states; verify metric definition/window/freshness and agreed privacy thresholds.
Before this can work
- Choose the Nora Vale dummy account and open its assigned Editor Home without a password or authenticator prompt. This dev-only Home review does not verify MFA or unlock protected staff actions. Use your own provisioned staff account and authenticator when reviewing those actions.
